Following on from their successful national album tour in March, The Holidays have announced an east coast run of new show dates. The dates coincide with the release of ‘Tongue Talk’ – the third single from the band’s popular sophomore LP, Real Feel.
Rising Perth star Coin Banks and Melbourne’s LEVA will be joining 360 as main supports on all dates on the Utopia Regional Tour, alongside Lane Harry x Ike Campbell, also 360’s only support for his forthcoming date at the Eaton’s Hill Hotel in Brisbane this month, KALE for all Northern NSW shows, Lee Monro x Ello C in Wollongong, Mistress of Ceremony in Victoria, and Creed Birch opening proceedings for all WA shows. As announced by lead singer/guitarist Dean McGrath on triple j, Hungry Kids of Hungary will hit the road in August, embarking on, let’s call it, a pre-album release warm-up, bringing back to Aussie audiences what the world has been enjoying for the past two months. The band has toured extensively across America and the UK playing such famed venues as The Viper Room in Los Angeles, the Mercury Lounge in NYC, the Borderline in London and the Camden Barfly.
There are few self-managed independent Australian acts that can state, they’ve toured with the likes of Santana & Lauryn Hill, been broadcast live worldwide performing at Al Gore’s 2007 Live Earth and toured across the world captivating crowds, filling rooms & rocking festivals, from Sydney to LA, NY to London, Tokyo to Montreal, Berlin to Melbourne.
Angus and Julia Stone’s sophomore album ‘Down The Way’ is the highest selling Australian Artist album for 2010.
