Mat McHugh Announces Solo 2016 Tour

Mat McHugh is about to take his music around Australia, performing a solo tour for the first time in a few years.

The latter part of 2015 was a tumultuous time for Mat. Having written, recorded and released a new FREE album – WAVES (www.matmchugh.bandcamp.com/album/waves) – Mat had to cancel his Australian tour last September after only a few shows due to extensive neck and back injuries.

Following the recent postponement of shows on The Good Life tour, Thirsty Merc have today confirmed new dates for shows in Warrnambool and Geelong in Victoria, Henley Beach and Norwood in South Australia and Albion Park and Goulburn in New South Wales.

Their current single “Black Rebel” is The Lazy’s second collaboration with Billy Talent guitarist Ian D’Sa, who co-wrote their debut Top 10 single “Shake It Like You Mean It” last year. Featured on their self-titled album, the track was produced by Garth “GGGarth” Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Mötley Crüe) and broke the Top 10 on the Canadian Charts, hit #2 on CBC’s Rock Chart in December 2014.

Deep Sea Arcade + Surf City (NZ) Australian Tour – February 2011 [Tour News & Tickets]

  Its surf music Jim, but not as we know it… Deep Sea Arcade are pleased to announce theyll be hitting both the road and the beach this summer in a co-headline tour with fellow surficianados Surf City from New Zealand. The two bands will duel it up along the east coast throughout February 2011 and with both bands drawing inspiration from classic surf music its only fitting that the majority of the shows will take place by the beach.
