Go Go Fish Celebrate ‘Graduation Day’ with New Single and Tour

gogofish
After chilling on the back deck over a sweltering Queensland summer, scrappy Brisbane power-pop quartet Go Go Fish are shaking off the sweat, chucking on a singlet and stepping up with their new single ‘Graduation Day’. Blasting forward with choppy power chords and joyous riffs, the song breaks into a irresistible, bone-headed chorus complete with their signature boy-girl-girl vocals.

Following on from a string of standalone singles (‘Vulpine’, ‘A Little Like You’, ‘Guest List’), ‘Graduation Day’ is the first serve of their soon-to-be-released EP ‘If I Go Down I’m Taking You With Me’, recorded with Cam Smith (Millions, Velociraptor, Dune Rats) and due early March. Go Go Fish are going on tour throughout February and March with Harley Young & the Haymakers to promote their new goodies with stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Currumbin before two hometown shows in Brisbane, including a set at Sonic Masala Fest, headlined by Screamfeeder, White Walls and Summer Flake – https://www.facebook.com/events/743626859039717/

The video for Go Go Fish’s song ‘A Little Like You’ was recently featured as Indie of the Week on the ABC’s venerable rage programme and the band have been hard at work in bass player Angela Hibbard’s garage working on a clip for ‘Graduation Day’ that could generously be described as “batshit crazy”. Stay tuned…
