Robert Falcon Scott spent years of his life dragging his beleaguered team across the barren wastelands of Antarctica, just for the hell of it, and of course to prove that the endless miles of icy wilderness were no obstacle to his determination and willpower.

Screamfeeder spent the 90s and half of the noughties dragging their arses around Australia and the world, recording album after album with much the same mindset: What the hell, it was hard but it could be done, and it was worth doing.

August 2015 will see two of Australia’s most promising rock/prog acts travel and perform together through Australia over 4 weekends, blazing their trail on a joint album release tour, presented by Killyourstereo.com.

Gatherer (Melbourne) and Guards of May (Brisbane) have joined forces to spread the word about their respective albums, both up for release in August. Gatherer’s ‘Heavy Hail’ drops first on August 7 and Guards of May’s ‘Future Eyes’ will see light of day on August 14, with the tour beginning on August 15.

It took just over a week for Kim’s second Melbourne show at The Corner Hotel to sell out, a third show slotted for Saturday February 14th is on sale now. It’s not only Melbournians who are tuning into this amazing multi-instrumentalist, his first Sydney show at the Oxford Arts Factory has sold out with a second show added on Thursday February 19th. Boo Seeka will open proceedings at both additional shows. Tom Keating (from Thieves) will perform at the third Corner show with another support act to be advised for the second Sydney show.
