John Butler Trio Launch New Video, Live EP and Tour

  On April 3rd this year, the John Butler Trio took to the stage at the Apple store Sydney to perform an exclusive up close and personal performance for their fans. At the completion of what was an incredible and intimate set the band were elated to share the news that their ‘April Uprising’ album had entered the ARIA albums chart at number one, the band’s third consecutive album to do so.

It is with great pleasure the John Butler Trio announce that outstanding in-store performance is exclusively available as a download from Apple’s iTunes Australia store from Tuesday July 27th. The John Butler Trio Live From Sydney EP features 3 tracks from the ‘April Uprising’ album including the current emotive single ‘Revolution’, the major hit single ‘One Way Road’ and live favourite ‘Johnny’s Gone’ as well as two classic crowd favourites in ‘Better Than’ taken from the ‘Grand National’ album and ‘Zebra’ from the hugely successful ‘Sunrise Over Sea’ album that broke it all wide open for the band worldwide. Amy Meredith ‘Restless’ Tour – Sept/Oct 2010

  Amy Meredith are excited to announce details of their headline RESTLESS TOUR, after what has an been an incredible start to 2010. The tour takes in 18 dates across Australia this September and October, and comes off the back of huge chart success with their smash hit single Lying and debut album Restless.

The band released their debut album Restless last week, where it debuted on the national ARIA charts at #8, following Lying smashing into the Top Ten of the ARIA singles chart. They will soon be supporting Aussie rockers Grinspoon around the country, before heading out as headliners on their own tour to take
their tunes to the masses.

Tap Dogs @ Capitol Theatre – Jan/Feb 2011


The beat of their tapping feet has reverberated around the world for 15 years, and now Australia’s TAP DOGS is returning home for a strictly limited season.

TAP DOGS, the internationally acclaimed dance sensation which has won 11 major international awards, created by Olivier Award winning choreographer Dein Perry, will set summer temperatures soaring from 5 January 2011 in a five-week season at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre. TAP DOGS is designed and directed by Nigel Triffitt.

  Shadow Thieves perform a fusion of rock, indie, progressive rock, roots, funk and atmospheric music on the first wave of the socialistic digital age. The band consists of four key members; Matt Buckley, Jack Letizia, Joey Green and Cass Wilson. The project began as ‘ENACIO’ in early 2006 after performing with other local Gold Coast bands. The word soon spread, and national agency ‘The Pushworth Group‘ began to book the band shows including supports with Spiderbait, The Angels (Angel City),

  Illusive Entertainment announced that legendary British soul funk band “The Brand New Heavies” [TBNH] are finally making their way to Australia for their first ever live shows, in intimate venues in Sydney and Melbourne. Grinspoon “Six To Midnight” Tour – new dates added July-Sep 2010

  Overwhelmed by demand to play shows in regional areas. Aussie rockers Grinspoon announce an extensive new run of new dates for their Six To Midnight Tour.

With the tour starting on the 29th of July in Tasmania the show will see the lads weave their way through the ACT, regional New South Wales and Victoria before hitting the last stretch of the tour in South Australia.

The hugely successful first leg of the tour in March, saw the band playing at “Sold-Out” venues like The Enmore Theatre and HiFi Bar in Melbourne to a very energetic crowds.
