Tap Dogs @ Capitol Theatre – Jan/Feb 2011


The beat of their tapping feet has reverberated around the world for 15 years, and now Australia’s TAP DOGS is returning home for a strictly limited season.

TAP DOGS, the internationally acclaimed dance sensation which has won 11 major international awards, created by Olivier Award winning choreographer Dein Perry, will set summer temperatures soaring from 5 January 2011 in a five-week season at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre. TAP DOGS is designed and directed by Nigel Triffitt.

It will also mark the return of Australia’s International film and theatre star Adam Garcia to the Sydney stage leading the TAP DOGS troupe. Continue reading

GORILLAZ Announce PLASTIC BEACH Tour for December 2010


In May 2010, Plastic Beach arrived in Camden, UK as the music of Gorillaz was performed over two stunning nights to critical acclaim.

Chugg Entertainment has announced that in the wake of these Camden shows and headline performances at this year’s Coachella and Glastonbury festivals, Gorillaz will be making their long awaited live debut in Australia & New Zealand in December 2010.   Shadow Thieves perform a fusion of rock, indie, progressive rock, roots, funk and atmospheric music on the first wave of the socialistic digital age. The band consists of four key members; Matt Buckley, Jack Letizia, Joey Green and Cass Wilson. The project began as ‘ENACIO’ in early 2006 after performing with other local Gold Coast bands. The word soon spread, and national agency ‘The Pushworth Group‘ began to book the band shows including supports with Spiderbait, The Angels (Angel City),

Shihad, You Am I, Grinspoon and more. The band was later discovered by Blue Tongue Management, and was included in the 2009 Big Day Out, Loud Fest and Caxton Street Festivals. Continue reading

Grinspoon “Six To Midnight” Tour – new dates added July-Sep 2010

  Overwhelmed by demand to play shows in regional areas. Aussie rockers Grinspoon announce an extensive new run of new dates for their Six To Midnight Tour.

With the tour starting on the 29th of July in Tasmania the show will see the lads weave their way through the ACT, regional New South Wales and Victoria before hitting the last stretch of the tour in South Australia.

The hugely successful first leg of the tour in March, saw the band playing at “Sold-Out” venues like The Enmore Theatre and HiFi Bar in Melbourne to a very energetic crowds.
