In June 2014, one of Australia’s finest and most-loved bands Augie March announced their return from a six-year hiatus. This very welcome news was swiftly followed by the announcement that the band had quietly been creating a fifth studio album, Havens Dumb, in Hobart and Melbourne over the preceding three years. The band’s return to the live stage came in the form of playing at Howler, a few streets away from the scene of their first-ever show sixteen years earlier, in Brunswick Victoria. They ended up doing five nights in a row by popular demand. It was indeed a triumphant return, with the band in best-ever form, playing better than ever, and enjoying themselves for the first time in a long time.

erth International Arts Festival are excited to announce London Grammar will be returning to Western Australia to play Redhill Auditorium on March 5 as part of the 2015 program. Returning to the West for the first time since their stunning performance at South Bound Festival, the announcement will be welcome news for WA fans.
Joining London Grammar for all shows will be New York minimal pop three piece Wet. The talk of SXSW this year, Wet, came to prominence late 2013 with breakthrough single ‘Dreams’ – a track readily added to full rotation on triple j and boasting in excess of 300,000 plays online. As befits their wide-screen nature the six-piece Glaswegian outfit won’t be doing things by halves either, taking in a headline spot at Adelaide Festival’s Thebarton Theatre, debut performances at both the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall and Melbourne’s famed Hamer Hall, a return slot at the Tivoli in Brisbane PLUS the band’s first ever visit to New Zealand – how’s that for stamping your authority!

After being onsale for just 3 days, the Geelong and Coolangatta dates of The Amity Affliction’s ‘The Weigh Downunder Tour’ have completely sold out. To accomodate the demand, an additional and final show has been added at the Coolangatta Hotel for Sunday November 18. Tickets go onsale 9am AEST (Queensland local time) tomorrow October 21.

UK electronic-post-rock legends 65DAYSOFSTATIC have announced their return to Australia with headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, as well as the 2015 Adelaide Festival (their first appearance in Adelaide).
The tour follows the band’s most recent studio album ‘Wild Light’ as well as extensive international touring in support of the 10th anniversary of their iconic debut ‘The Fall Of Math.’
Formed in 2001 in Sheffield, 65daysofstatic quickly established themselves as one of the most influential post-rock exponents in the UK.
