Tour News : Gomez To Play ‘Liquid Skin’ Album On National Australian Tour 2019

Post-Britpop pioneers Gomez are returning to Australia this year to celebrate the upcoming re-issue of their seminal 1999 album ‘Liquid Skin’. They will be performing the album in full along with some of their biggest hits around Australia this November as well as a headlining slot at The Lost Lands in Melbourne to be announced soon.

Deer Tick Announce Australian Headline Shows In March

After the announcement their headline appearance at Victoria’s favourite boutique festival, Boogie, and opening slots for Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, the hell-raising rockers Deer Tick are coming back to Australia to play headline shows in , BRISBANE, SYDNEY and MELBOURNE for the first time since 2013. On their last visit to Australia John McCauley told The Music Magazine – “I mean we always try to put on a good show, and when we don’t we generally feel pretty bad about it. But I think seeing us live makes our records make a little bit more sense. There’s not a lot of bands around now that do what we do, which is anything that we fucking want”

The Black Keys Turn Blue World Tour – Australian Dates Announced

The Black Keys return to Australia off the back of their successful 8th full-length album Turn Blue.

As part of the Turn Blue World Tour, the band will perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. They will also headline Bluesfest Byron Bay and will be the first artists to play at the inaugural Rolling Green events, from A Day On The Green promoter Roundhouse Entertainment, at wineries in Victoria’s Yarra Valley and the Hunter Valley NSW.

Love Police Touring have announced the return of UK’s, Ben Ottewell for a national Australian tour throughout October/November with special guest from LA, Buddy.

As a singer and lead guitarist in rock band Gomez, Ben Ottewell is well known for his unmistakable voice and talent for blistering and inspired guitar work. New record Fondo on Six Degrees Records OUT NOW.This January sees the first time visit to Australian shores for African guitarist/singer/songwriter, Vieux Farka Touré who is set to perform intimate club shows in both Brisbane and Melbourne, and will also be performing as part of the calendar of events at the Sydney Festival. Mixing reggae, funk, and R&B, Vieux Farka Touré breaks new ground as one of the first world music artists to embrace the sounds of rock. The son of African music legend, the late Ali Farka Touré, he draws on West African Malian traditions, and incorporates his father’s signature desert style blues to create his own unique style and sound. Vieux Farka Touré will be supported by Baala Baajo. Baala Baajo combine African drums with guitar, keyboard, balafon and nyatiti. Their music features original compositions, traditional soulful rhythms, beautiful vocals and high energy percussion and dance. Well-known for their energy, exuberance and musical talent, they have travelled nationally and internationally, performing and teaching African arts and culture. Baala Baajo will take you on an uplifting and soulful journey!
