Thirsty Merc started the day with a set that included crowd favourites “Summertime”, “20 Good Reasons” and “Someday, Someday”. Lead singer Rai Thistlethwayte and the boys were in fine form even introducing the Cold Chisel, Phil Small penned hit “My Baby” into their set.

Bryan Adams Announces Regional Concert Run For January 2018


Frontier Touring and Roundhouse Entertainment are delighted to welcome BRYAN ADAMS back to Australia for four very special regional shows in January 2018.

BRYAN ADAMS will appear at two Victorian a day on the green events, playing for the first time in both Geelong and Nagambie.

A Day On The Green 2015-2016 Summer Season!

Everyone’s favourite outdoor event a day on the green kicks off its 15th season this weekend – October 31st, 2015.

The hugely successful concert series begins with an annual event at Robert Oatley Vineyards, Mudgee NSW on Saturday October 31 where about 5500 patrons will see a stellar Aussie line-up featuring Icehouse and James Reyne.

The following weekend Fleetwood Mac takes to the stage at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong VIC with a sold-out crowd of 18,000.

A devastating earthquake rips through the city leaving tens of thousands dead and hundreds of thousands homeless. No, I’m not writing about any one of the natural disasters to have plagued our planet over the last year or so. Sadly, history has a way of repeating itself and Mother Nature is one cruel bitch.

The year was 1988 and a 6.9 magnitude earthquake tore through Armenia. International charity campaigner, Jon Dee was there working at getting coverage of the devastation and he was so horrified by what he saw (particularly the images of people carrying child size coffins) that he felt compelled to do something and hence, “Smoke On The Water-The Metropolis Sessions” was born. It was to be a reworking of the Deep Purple classic, a song that is almost instilled into our brains at birth and certainly one that any aspiring guitarist worth his weight will work through at some point.
