Divinely vintage vocals, honeyed harmonies and charming tales are what make up the forthcoming full length release from Melbourne’s Susy Blue. Inspired by Susy’s love of 60’s pop, early rock n roll, nouveau-folk and everything in between. From a history steeped in the study of classical flute and dabbling in gypsy jazz, tango, chorros, bossa nova, mixed with an affection for old school country and folk, to a long lasting love for singer songwriters such as Joanna Newsom, Bjork and Fiona Apple.

The Decline announce new EP And National Tour

The DeclineRabble-rousing, good times WA skate-punks The Decline are stoked to announce they’ll be unleashing a fresh 5-track EP and kicking off a national tour real soon. Pee Records are proud to present the fully crowd-funded, fully sick ‘Can I Borrow A Feeling?’ EP.

More than 8 years in and two albums deep, The Decline are a respected and recognisable name amongst the international punk community. 2013 was a stand-out year for the local stalwarts; they supported long time heroes Descendents, undertook a month-long European outing, a Japanese tour with 90’s So-Cal super-band Implants (members of Strung Out, Pulley) and an epic Australian tour with Isreali punkers Useless ID. These efforts earned them a WAMi nomination in the punk/hardcore category and ensured they came out of the gates strong in 2014, nabbing a coveted afternoon slot at the Perth Soundwave festival. It’s clear that the force rages strong with these guys.

EJ_SGSoundworks Touring & KillRockStar Big Dog Entertainment present the genre-breaking instrumental pyrotechnics of the incredible 2CELLOS live in Australia.

Young Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, together known as 2CELLOS, have achieved sensational success by taking the cello to a new level. Their playing style has broken down the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical and film music to pop and rock. 2CELLOS have no limits when it comes to performing live and are equally as impressive when playing Bach and Vivaldi as they are when rocking out, as evidenced in the recent mind-blowing clip of their version of the AC/DC track Thunderstruck.

The Acacia Strain | Announce National Tour for April/May 2014

acacia

The Acacia Strain don’t like labels. Who does? Instead, they’re just an all encompassing ‘Heavy’ and heavy has no boundaries. Since forming in Massachusetts USA in 2001, the band have released six album, two splits, done an awesome cover of Slayer’s Seasons In The Abyss, toured with everyone from Hatebreed to Crowbar to The Casualties (and so many variously styled bands in between), played the Warped Tour and cracked the top 200 with two albums. Simply being ‘Heavy’ releases the shackles and truly lets a band do what they want. In 2012 they signed to Rise Records and released their latest and most crushing effort Death Is The Only Mortal. Later that same year they were involved in a rollover accident but it only slowed them down, it did not stop them.
