|It’s been a busy, tiring and rewarding month for Brisbane hardcore kids The Amity Affliction. Their new album Youngbloods was released on June 18 and debuted at #6 on the National Aria charts, gate-crashing the mainstream and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Eminem, Jack Johnson and Justin Bieber at the top of the pops!

Back to perform in Australia – a place he holds dear to his heart – Jack returns this coming summer in support of his forthcoming album “To The Sea”, for what will be a run of hotly anticipated shows.
A Decade on from his first visit, JACK JOHNSON will be on Australian shores again with a new album under his belt, titled To The Sea and a back catalogue of hits spanning his multi-platinum selling albums “Brushfire Fairytales”, “On and On”, “In Between Dreams” and “Sleep Through The Static”.
Performing such classics as “Inaudible Melodies”, “Sitting Waiting Wishing”, “Flake”, “Taylor”, and “Times Like These”, along side his latest hit “You And Your Heart” Jack brings in tow his ever faithful traveling companions, long time band members Adam Topol (drums),Merlo Podlewski (bass) and Zach Gill (keys).
After selling an astonishing 18 million+ copies worldwide, JACK JOHNSON, is set to release his fifth studio album – the aptly titled “To The Sea” – produced by Robert Carranza, and JACK JOHNSON, which also features guest appearances from long time collaborator and friend G. In a continuing effort to acknowledge and support environmental work JACK JOHNSON’S 2010 To The Sea Tour will collaborate with hand-chosen community groups in Australia and around the world as part of Johnson’s All At Once Community. This year’s All At Once campaign will focus on supporting non-profit groups and engaging fans in the realms of Sustainable Local Food Systems and Plastic Free Initiatives. April 6th 2010 – Last night at the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm 12 minutes north of Byron Bay, five incredible days of blues and roots music from all over Australia and the world drew to a close, capping off a 21st Anniversary birthday party of infectiously good music and signature Bluesfest spirit.
Blessed with glorious sunshine and the occasional cooling shower, approximately 80,000 fans from 30 different countries walked through the entry gates over five days of blues, rock and roll, alt-country, world, soul, reggae, funk, Latino and roots music.

The third major round of artists to perform at the 21st Anniversary Bluesfest has today been announced. The great music just keeps on coming in what is fast being considered by the media as the best ever Bluesfest bill – a fitting scenario for a 21st birthday celebration. And there’s still approximately 40 artists yet to be announced!
The second major round of artists to perform at the 21st Anniversary Bluesfest has been announced! Australia’s most awarded and internationally renowned festival officially will be held at its permanent new home – at the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm just off the Pacific Highway, 12 minutes north of Byron Bay. The Easter weekend dates for your diary are Thursday April 1 through to Monday April 5, 2010!

Jack Johnson’s exclusive 2010 Bluesfest appearances mark his first Australian appearances since March 2008, and his first Bluesfest appearances since 2005. These hotly anticipated Bluesfest performances are truly special as there will be no other Jack Johnson Australian shows on this tour!
