Back to perform in Australia – a place he holds dear to his heart – Jack returns this coming summer in support of his forthcoming album “To The Sea”, for what will be a run of hotly anticipated shows. A Decade on from his first visit, JACK JOHNSON will be on Australian shores again with a new album under his belt, titled To The Sea and a back catalogue of hits spanning his multi-platinum selling albums “Brushfire Fairytales”, “On and On”, “In Between Dreams” and “Sleep Through The Static”. |
Performing such classics as “Inaudible Melodies”, “Sitting Waiting Wishing”, “Flake”, “Taylor”, and “Times Like These”, along side his latest hit “You And Your Heart” Jack brings in tow his ever faithful traveling companions, long time band members Adam Topol (drums),Merlo Podlewski (bass) and Zach Gill (keys).

Bluesfest 2010 wraps up its 21st Birthday with the world’s finest musicians and approx 80,000 fans
April 6th 2010 – Last night at the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm 12 minutes north of Byron Bay, five incredible days of blues and roots music from all over Australia and the world drew to a close, capping off a 21st Anniversary birthday party of infectiously good music and signature Bluesfest spirit.
Blessed with glorious sunshine and the occasional cooling shower, approximately 80,000 fans from 30 different countries walked through the entry gates over five days of blues, rock and roll, alt-country, world, soul, reggae, funk, Latino and roots music.

News: Another electrifying artist announce for Bluesfest 2010!
The second major round of artists to perform at the 21st Anniversary Bluesfest has been announced! Australia’s most awarded and internationally renowned festival officially will be held at its permanent new home – at the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm just off the Pacific Highway, 12 minutes north of Byron Bay. The Easter weekend dates for your diary are Thursday April 1 through to Monday April 5, 2010!
Festival goers should also note that the new and updated playing schedule is now online, and one day tickets are now also on sale – just visit www.bluesfest.com.au to see it all. This announcement marks the first time so many artists (over 50) have been unveiled this early, along with the playing schedule – giving fans more time than ever to plan their Easter holidays.
