Guards of May & Gatherer announce joint album release tour – August 2015

August 2015 will see two of Australia’s most promising rock/prog acts travel and perform together through Australia over 4 weekends, blazing their trail on a joint album release tour, presented by Killyourstereo.com.

Gatherer (Melbourne) and Guards of May (Brisbane) have joined forces to spread the word about their respective albums, both up for release in August. Gatherer’s ‘Heavy Hail’ drops first on August 7 and Guards of May’s ‘Future Eyes’ will see light of day on August 14, with the tour beginning on August 15.

Five Mile Sniper’s debut album The Sound Of Trees, three years in the making, includes the collaboration of some of Melbourne’s best known musicians.

From jarring guitars and industrial beats through to wistful pianos and atmospheric synth arrangements, the album is eclectic. It dips into the assorted musical landscapes of early 80’s alt rock, post grunge, power pop, garage, indietronic and downtempo electronica. Each of the five members of the band bring to the record their own unique flavour, which makes for a colourful and intriguing listen that keeps the listener glued to the speakers.

DREAM ON DREAMER ”….And The Light Pulled Me Back” Tour | October-December 2014

Dream On Dreamer (DOD) are pleased to announce the …And The Light Pulled Me Back Tour. After dropping the new single “Darkness Brought Me Here” to the delight of their fans, the band are pleased to follow up the huge demand with a run of 18+ and All Ages shows along the East Coast.

2014 has been a turbulent year for the band with drummer Aaron Fiocca fighting cancer and a member change with the addition of Chris Shaw (ex House Vs Hurricane) on bass. This would be too much to handle for most bands but DOD are stronger than ever and are currently busy writing their third album scheduled for release in 2015. Aaron is now fighting fit and smashing the drums with huge beats and as a whole the band are really excited for the future. DOD can’t wait to test some new material live, plus also play all the fan favorites.
