Temptation – The Waifs
| “Where do we take it from here?”
It’s a question the much-loved Australian band has asked itself several times in the 19 years since Thorn, her sister Donna Simpson and guitarist Josh Cunningham set off on their incredible journey.
A trip that began in a van in 1992, with the three troubadours playing gigs anywhere in Australia that would have them, has led The Waifs to multiple ARIA awards, platinum albums and successful tours across the world. | You are invited to Amy Meredith: Higher Education. One of Australia’s great breakthrough success stories are packing their bags once again ready to hit the road for the National ‘Higher Education’ tour. The boys will up the ante this time around, playing seventeen dates through May and June in venues across Australia.
In what will be a massive six-week party, this tour will celebrate the band’s epic achievements since the release of their debut record Restless in July last year. Over the past eighteen months, the five-piece outfit have well and truly cemented their status as one of Australia’s hottest acts. The smash hit single Lying cracked the ARIA Singles Chart top 10 and claimed Platinum status in January, the band wowed audiences at an international showcase and chalked up dual 2010
ARIA Awards nominations for Breakthrough Artist and Most Popular Australian Artist.

Robbie Williams () explodes onto the ARIA Album Chart this week with “Reality Killed The Video Star”, claiming his fourth Australian No.1 album to give him an impressive total of twelve weeks at the top of the chart. The international superstar, who will perform at the ARIA Awards next week, scored a total of nine weeks at number one for his 2004/05 “Greatest Hits” release, along with one week at the top for both “Intensive Care” and “Rude Box” in 2005 and 2006 respectively. He also claims the first chart topper on the new ARIA Digital Album Chart with “Reality Killed The Video Star” and whilst Foo Fighters were number one on the Physical Album Chart, Robbie’s digital sales were extensive enough to ensure him number one overall, as reflected by the ARIA Album Chart. Vanessa Amorosi swoops on top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart this week with her hit “This Is Who I Am”, scoring her first ever No.1 single and at the same time, ending the seven-week chart topping run of David Guetta‘s “Sexy Bitch” (feat.
