GORILLAZ Announce PLASTIC BEACH Tour for December 2010
In May 2010, Plastic Beach arrived in Camden, UK as the music of Gorillaz was performed over two stunning nights to critical acclaim.
Chugg Entertainment has announced that in the wake of these Camden shows and headline performances at this year’s Coachella and Glastonbury festivals, Gorillaz will be making their long awaited live debut in Australia & New Zealand in December 2010. National coverage through Triple J and Rage builds the anticipation on My Fiction’s album launch tonight and the question on everyone’s head is whether the album will deliver what this band has long promised.
I missed the opening support act so I apologise for not arriving earlier at the venue. I did however make my way there on time to catch Numbers Radio’s show in its entirety. I am a big fan of these guys. |

83 Car Event Guarantees Biggest Australian Event in Years At International Rally Of Queensland
THE biggest field for a championship rally in Australia in years, 83 cars, will start the International Rally of Queensland on the Sunshine Coast on Friday 30th July 2010.
The final entry list for the 30 July-1 August event features teams from India, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Australia, plus a star-studded driver line-up.
Starting in Caloundra on Friday night with two tarmac special stages at the Coates Hire Rally Shootout, the event will host round four of the 2010 FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship, round five of the Australian Rally Championship, rounds three and four of the Queensland Rally Championship, the third and final round of the Australian Classic Rally Competition and a category for All Comers.
