In exciting breaking news, Voyager have just been announced for the world renowned Prog Power USA 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia! Our very own Voyager will be sharing the stage with the likes of…Creations End, Sanctuary, Mob Rules, Haken, Dream Evil & Therion. |
The event sells out in advance every year and has launched many a bands career on US soil…. this is a massive announcement and an amazing achievment for any progressive metal band let alone a band from Perth, Western Australia….to say that the band are beyond ‘stoked’ to be part of this prestigious event is an understatement.

After lengthy negotiations Voyager and Soundworks Management can announce that Voyager have mutually parted ways with their previous label , Dockyard Records. Dockyard was home to the bands last two releases, ‘I am The Revolution’ & ‘UniVers’ but this recent change now sees Voyager take back full ownership and rights to all masters and licenses pertaining to these releases .
Not only have the band regained total ownership of their last two releases but It also sees the band in the exciting position of looking for a new label to call home in the near future……….
In European news…Voyager have just secured the highly sort after services of Mr Marco Walzel at Avocado Booking Europe! The Avocado booking roster speaks for itself , being home to other Aussie touring Warriors such as Parkway Drive and Psycroptic and a swag of other renowned bands form all over the globe.
Once again, a massive step forward for Australia’s premier progressive music machine and an opportunity that Voyager is standing by to take full advantage of in 2011!!
