Metropolis Touring have announced the return of legendary rockers URIAH HEEP to Australia. Considered one of the ‘Big Four’ pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal in the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s along with BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE & LED ZEPPELIN – URIAH HEEP still enjoy legendary status.
URIAH HEEP’s unique, progressive, hard sound has made them a mainstay of the rock circuit for four decades. Famed for their accomplished musical talents, diverse song writing and powerful live performances, the band has released some of the most popular and defining music of their genre. After touring Australia extensively in 2010, aussie rockers Grinspoon are back on the road continuing their Six to Midnight tour, on a 5 day run through NSW over the easter long weekend.
Their sixth studio album Six To Midnight has recently been released in Japan and also the United Kingdom where they will be touring in March. This tour will kick off at Rooty Hill on the 21st of April and will finish in Newcastle on Anzac Day. |
