Foxx On Fire   Q. ‘They’ say that you already have the look, the tunes and the energy …that you’re a “…big label A&R’s wet dream”. How will uncharTED help you?

Foxx On Fire: Well hopefully it will bring more attention to the band, putting Foxx on Fire into the minds of these A&R types. Then hopefully they will see us and have that wet dream… then sign us.

Q. So you want your fans to vote once an hour for every hour of every day…and what reward will they reap for their loyalty and dedication?

Foxx On Fire: Well the big reward is that they’d be helping an up and coming band and getting some new music out into the ether.

Q. What will you do if you don’t win? Is busking in Byron during Splendour an option?

Foxx On Fire: It is an option, but as far as I know the tickets for Splendour are sold out, so if we want to go to the festival winning the competition is the only option!

Q. What has your rise to super-stardom involved so far? Overnight success or hard-slog heroes?

Foxx On Fire: It hasn’t been a smash and grab affair, we’ve paid our dues. We’ve played a lot of shows, recorded music, made music videos and what have you. But if we win the competition, it could really take it to the next level. I think it would be an important chapter in the unauthorised Biography of Foxx on Fire.

Q. Sooo many bands and solo artists entered this competition. Why do you think your music stood out?

Foxx On Fire: I was in the bath the other day and I realised why I am destined for greatness. We play music that makes the people dance, sing and philosophize.

Q. How important are competitions like uncharTED for emerging bands?

Foxx On Fire: They are a great way for your band to get a lot of exposure; the response so far has been great for us. I would recommend it to anyone.
