STIFF LITTLE FINGERS
Formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland STIFF LITTLE FINGERS were at the forefront of the punk movement. Contemporaries of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69 and Stranglers, they wrote initially about their own lives growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland. In November of ’77, they released “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life” on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night.

A Tribe Called Red have announced they will be heading to Australia to perform for the first time an extensive run of shows throughout the east-coast including headline dates as well as Australian Music Week, The Sydney Opera House’s ‘Homeground’. A Tribe Called Red aims to challenge stereotypes about indigenous people by using video segments taken from pop culture (movies, cartoons) in order to poke fun of the racist imagery. They not only mix tradition with contemporary art via music+video, but also their dancer who mix b-boy style with traditional hoop dancing.

Everyone’s favourite outdoor event a day on the green kicks off its 15th season this weekend – October 31st, 2015.

The hugely successful concert series begins with an annual event at Robert Oatley Vineyards, Mudgee NSW on Saturday October 31 where about 5500 patrons will see a stellar Aussie line-up featuring Icehouse and James Reyne.

The following weekend Fleetwood Mac takes to the stage at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong VIC with a sold-out crowd of 18,000.

THE AMITY AFFLICTION and A DAY TO REMEMBER today announce that they are adding a New Zealand stop to the epic ‘Big Ass Tour’ following the recent announcement of a second Brisbane show. The Amity Affliction, A Day To Remember, Motionless In White and The Ghost Inside will now kick start the ‘Big Ass Tour’ with an R15 show at the Logan Campbell Centre in Auckland on Thursday 10 December, in what will be one of the biggest rock shows of the year.
