KATE MILLER-HEIDKE announces national album tour!

CREDIT JO DUCKKate Miller-Heidke has the critics raving with her fourth studio album, and first independent release, O Vertigo! The album playfully redefines the boundaries of her unique style of indie pop whilst pushing her voice into uncharted vocal terrain. Made possible by the support of Kate’s army of loyal fans who funded the album through PledgeMusic in a record-breaking 3 days, it was released in March and garnered rave reviews along with a top 5 debut on the ARIA album chart.

Kate launched the album to her fans in capital cities with a sold-out series of intimate acoustic shows, featuring long-term collaborator Keir Nuttall on guitar and musical freak-genius John Rodgers on violin and piano. The trio will now embark on an extensive tour of regional centres to premiere songs from O Vertigo!, along with old favourites. Tickets for Kate Miller-Heidke’s national tour go on sale Thursday 22 May.

The Holidays “Tongue Talk” East Coast Tour | May-July 2014

the holidays040Following on from their successful national album tour in March, The Holidays have announced an east coast run of new show dates. The dates coincide with the release of ‘Tongue Talk’ – the third single from the band’s popular sophomore LP, Real Feel.

Real Feel has received solid radio support and media attention since its release in late Feb. It was triple J’s feature album upon release, with singles ‘All Time High’ and’ Home’ receiving high rotation on the station.

Angus and Julia Stone – ‘Down The Way’ Notches Up Platinum Sales

Angus and Julia Stone’s sophomore album ‘Down The Way’ is the highest selling Australian Artist album for 2010.

The album debuted No. 1 upon release in March, holding for 2 consecutive weeks and has maintained a position at the top of the charts, this week moving back inside the top 10 and notching up sales of over 70,000 copies in the last two months, certifying it platinum.

The siblings return home next month from playing sell out shows across the UK and USA to headline the ‘Go Between Bridge’ concert in Brisbane.
