Dead Letter Circus‘ Aesthesis album tour just gets bigger and bigger.
This week, Aesthesis is the feature album on triple j, single ‘While You Wait’ is making itself known on days on Triple M and will be making two TV appearances – they are guest-programming Rage this weekend and on Friday, they will be featured on Channel Nine’s Today Show. The album has been pushing the upper eschelons of the charts in it’s first week and is expected to surpass the previous albums’ chart placements.

Gatherer (Melbourne) and Guards of May (Brisbane) have joined forces to spread the word about their respective albums, both up for release in August. Gatherer’s ‘Heavy Hail’ drops first on August 7 and Guards of May’s ‘Future Eyes’ will see light of day on August 14, with the tour beginning on August 15.

EL GRANDE FESTIVAL RETURNS TO GLADSTONE
SATURDAY MARCH 29 2014 AT BOJANGLES NIGHTCLUB
The wildly successful El Grande Festival returns for a 3rd go-round in Central Queensland, this time at Bojangles Nightclub, Gladstone. Dead Letter Circus heads up a MASSIVE day of rock, roots and hip hop presented by HotFM CQ, Southern Cross Ten and The Observer.
The change in venue for the festival was required after the previous two events sold out and required a larger space to accommodate Dead Letter Circus and the 25 acts playing on the day. Brisbane’s Guards of May are celebrating the release of their new track Numbers with the release of a completely self-made film clip! It comes just one week ahead of their hometown launch show at Tempo Hotel alongside WA’s OPIA and Brisbane compatriots Soxiet X-Ray Record Club and House of Giants and a day ahead of the start of their tour.
Their latest track Numbers is a kinetic, melodic track that is awash with thumping bass lines, vigorous drum patterns and soaring vocal hooks. It was recorded at Loose Stones studios on the Gold Coast with Tyse Lee, is them at their sharpest – a dynamic, melodic, hook-laden track that is anything BUT by the numbers.
