A live EP featuring six songs that were recorded during Ozzy Osbourne’s July 3, 2010 performance at the iTunes festival at London, England’s Roundhouse has been released exclusively via Apple’s iTunes Store.

OZZY OSBOURNE’s new album, “Scream”, sold 81,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Osbourne’s last album, “Black Rain”, opened with 152,000 units back in May 2007 to enter the chart at No. 3. That number was in line with the 153,000 first-week tally registered by 2001’s “Down to Earth”, which debuted at No. 4.

Spare Parts: The School Competition!

What is Spare Parts? Spare Parts is an exhibition being held at the Brisbane Powerhouse from 9th November until 5th December 2010. The opening night is Friday 12th November 2010. Spare Parts will bring together a diverse range of artists all using pre-loved prosthetic limbs as their canvas. As an exhibition Spare Parts will create and promote about 40 individual pieces of art and parallel to this, a positive and open conversation about prosthetics. The diversity of artists is a very important component of the exhibition as is their interpretation of each limb. Those involved range from a world class graffiti artist, tattooists, a poet, painters, comic artists, to one of Australia’s most popular up and coming sculptors. |

Perth’s global gallivanters Tame Impala are fresh back from their virgin voyage around the USA in time to announce their Spring Australian Tour.
Since the recent release of their debut record, Innerspeaker, there’s been no rest for the Perth four-piece, who walked off the stage of their last Australian show and onto a jetplane bound for the states. |
In the US they supported MGMT at a slew of sold out shows everywhere from Santa Cruz to Salt Lake City and played sold out headline shows of their own in NYC, LA and Chicago.

To coincide with LCD Soundsystem’s Australian tour this month, LCD Soundsystem and DFA present a visual retrospective of their inspired artwork. The exhibition, titled “That’s Cool But Can You Make It More Sh*t?” will be open to the public from Wednesday July 28 until Tuesday August 3, 11am to 6pm daily, at the Tom Dunne Gallery, 11 Little Burton Street, Darlinghurst.
