John Butler Trio Announce National ‘Flesh & Blood’ Tour – March/April 2014

The John Butler Trio recently completed a quick stint of thrilling performances in capital cities selling out small capacity iconic venues around the country as they introduced new tunes and their new drummer, Grant Gerathy. With the trio’s sixth studio album ‘Flesh & Blood’ locked and loaded for a February 7th global release the band are pleased to announce a national tour, their first extensive Australian tour in 4 years. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday December 13th 2013.

The John Butler Trio’s ‘Flesh & Blood’ album tour will take in major capital cities and a host of regional centres throughout March and April 2014. Fans can expect a set list encompassing tracks from their new album ‘Flesh & Blood’ as well as crowd favourites from the breadth of the trio’s catalogue.

Clutch – 2014 Australian Tour supports announced!

Clutch have announced Melbourne heavy rock outfit Don Fernando as support for their Melbourne show at the Prince (SOLD OUT) and Sydney show at The Metro. While local hard hitters Brisbane The Black Water Fever and Heavy Roller will open proceedings at The Zoo (limited tickets available).

Towards the end of February Clutch will land in Australia for their first shows since the release of their tenth studio album Earth Rocker (2013), which has fast become the most successful album of the bands twenty four year career, featuring heavily in top ten albums of 2013 lists across the globe, including being the number one album in Metal Hammer UK’s top 50 albums of the year.

Baby Animals are Back with a Brand new National Tour in 2014

Hot off the success of their first studio album release in 20 years, This Is Not The End, and its Top 20 ARIA Album Chart debut, iconic Aussie rockers Baby Animals have announced a string of new Australian tour dates in 2014 – a continuation of this year’s national capital city tour.

Presented by Social Family Records, The Harbour Agency and MAX, “Feed The Birds Part II” will kick off with two “A Day On The Green” shows with Jimmy Barnesin Clare Valley, South Australia and Yarra Valley, Victoria; followed by headline dates in Merimbula, Wollongong, Coffs Harbour, Laurieton, North Brisbane, Gold Coast, Albury, Batemans Bay, Rooty Hill, Revesby, Ipswich, East Brisbane, Dee Why and Belmont.

Live Review: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus @ The Hi-Fi, Brisbane – November 7, 2013

Earlier this year, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus introduced an interesting concept to their Australian fans: the Choose Your Own Adventure tour. They listed a series of dates, and possible locations where they could play on each of those dates, and let their fans vote for the location – but not just with a click of the mouse, the fans had to buy a ticket in order for their vote to count. So when doors opened to their Brisbane show, you could be sure that the audience packing the lower level of the Hi-Fi were genuine fans. After all, they bought a ticket before they could even guarantee that they would see the band play in their city.
