There are moments in almost every Jeff Lang gig which absolutely grab you in the guts. Often it’s while the “disturbed folk” progenitor is wrangling an impossible guitar lick to within an inch of its life; sometimes it’s when he’s fiercely locking into a groove with his long-term collaborator Danny McKenna and sailing on the precipice; others it’s when the starkly rich lyrics arrests you in your tracks.

Teen rapscallions Lunatics On Pogosticks announce the release of a new EP, ‘Slug Cat and Snail Dog’ via themusicconnection label / MGM on Friday 11th July 2014. In support of the release, the grunge trio will head out on a tour of the East Coast this September.
After two years, two EP’s, a smattering of singles and a handful of house parties the band took out the 2013 Unearthed High Competition with their stomping single ‘Picasso’s Saddest Love’, hand picked by Triple j (over 900 other Aussie mites).

Kingswood announce new Single + Australian Tour
Melbourne indie-rockers Kingswood have unleashed their latest single ‘I Can Feel That You Don’t Love Me’ from the forthcoming album ‘Microscopic Wars’ which will be released through Dew Process. Recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, the debut long-player sees the band team up with Grammy Award winning producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Kings Of Leon) and is set for release Friday August 22nd.
