Following the well-received release of their debut single ‘Lover of Mine’ pulled from forthcoming EP, Brisbane all female three-piece, Avaberée (pron. aye-va-ber-ee) are proud to present accompanying video clip.

Directed and co-produced by Sydney based, Josh Calder – known for his work with The Trouble with Templeton clips – the collective minds wanted to take a whimsically dark yet captivating approach to the visuals accompanying the song. Set in a nested basement, Aimee, Genevieve and Irena, the three alluring birds hold a male bird/ex-lover hostage, to reveal his colourful facade for the inner truth.

Continuing Eagle’s series of releases drawn from the vaults of the Jeff Healey Band, “House On Fire” is a collection of studio rarities and demos recorded in the nineties. Eight of the eleven tracks were recorded between March & July 1992 during the sessions for the “Feel This” album. Two tracks, “Adam Raised A Cain” and “We’ve Got Tonight”, were recorded in May/June 1994 and “Daze Of The Night” was recorded in October 1998.

Nine Melbourne community digital radio services will face an uncertain future if the Federal Government fails to reverse a funding shortfall for community broadcasters in the upcoming budget.

The affected Melbourne stations today confirmed that without Communications Minster Stephen Conroy committing
adequate funds to the Digital Radio Project, they will be at risk of not having a digital service in the future.

The Frontier Touring Company have confirmed that the comic rock brilliance of Tenacious D will be returning to our shores again this May for an extensive run of headline theatre shows.

Bringing it all back to the classic lineup that originally birthed their genius, Jack Black and Kyle Gass are touring as an acoustic duo on their first tour of Australia and New Zealand since their last run supporting Foo Fighters in December of 2011. Little known fact — Foo Fighters are really just Dave Grohl’s side project…his primary gig remains the studio drummer on all three Tenacious D albums.
