Violent Soho’s hugely anticipated fourth studio album WACO (released on 18 March via I OH YOU) has debuted at #1 on ARIA album charts. It’s been a long time coming for Mansfield’s (4122) favourite sons who after four full length LPs (including Gold-certified Hungry Ghost which enjoyed a #6 ARIA debut) and extensive touring throughout Australia and overseas, have managed to snag the hotly sort after top spot.

Violent Soho’s WACO Tour which already features arguably one of the most insane line ups this year with mates DZ Deathrays and Dune Rats, is about to get even more crazy with the addition of The Gooch Palms to open each date.
Punk duo The Gooch Palms, originally from Newcastle, have recently based themselves in the US to tour and work on their second album Introverted Extroverts to be released later this year. They released the first single ‘Tiny Insights’ from the album in December 2015. Their debut album NOVO (Anti Fade Records) sold out of its first and second pressings. The band recently performed at SXSW in Austin. Famous for their entertaining and theatrical stage shows, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for warming up crowds on the WACO Tour.
