Alice Cooper : Official Video For ‘The Sound Of A’

The official video premiere for “The Sound Of A”.

The song has a special meaning; it is in fact the first song that Alice Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967. The song was forgotten until Dennis Dunaway, the bass player of the original Alice Cooper band, rediscovered it and played it to Alice, after which the two of them updated the song and then recorded it for the “Paranormal” album. With its psychedelic sound, swirling guitars and the mysterious Hammond organ, it is one of the most hypnotic songs on “Paranormal”.

Mötley Crüe at Brisbane Entertainment Centre - May 19, 2015
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was packed to the rafters with eager fans coming out to farewell MOTLEY CRUE on their last ever stop in Brisbane as part of ‘The Final Tour’. And opening for Motley Crue was none other than the master of macabre theatrical rock ALICE COOPER.

With a cut down set time of only 50 minutes, Alice and his band waste no time kicking off their set with gritty anthemic classics Department of Youth and No More Mr. Nice Guy. By the time we hit the third song Under My Wheels the crowd is singing, jumping and primed for more.

Album Review : Marilyn Manson – The Pale Emperor

Review by Wezzy Crüze – www.wezzycruze.com
Marilyn Manson2015 is off to a raging start, as we see the release of The Pale Emperor, the latest LP from controversial media personality and shock rock pioneer, Marilyn Manson.

The album poses as a real return to form for Manson, the “Anti-Christ Superstar” going above and beyond previous efforts to deliver an album that fans familiar to his work will not only appreciate, but feel the energy and rawness that some felt has been missing for a lengthy period.

While The Pale Emperor see long time member and musical collaborator Twiggy Ramirez (Jeordie White) absent from the writing and recording procedure (for unknown reasons), we’re introduced to Tyler Bates as he is welcomed to the fold as Manson’s new creative partner.

Interview with JOHN 5 [Audio]

Interview: Ben Hosking
There aren’t many guitarists out there displaying as much originality and commitment to their craft as John 5.

Long known as the axeman behind such artists as Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, he’s also played with such luminaries as Rob Halford, David Lee Roth and Paul Stanley. When he’s not touring with Zombie, he’s playing session work with artists from a wide range of styles including Ricky Martin and recording his own solo albums; such as his latest effort, ‘The Art Of Malice’ which is available now.
