Singer/songwriter JOSHUA RADIN (USA) is bringing his self proclaimed “whisper rock” to Australia for an evening of intimate and deeply personal performances (May 2018). We caught up with Joshua ahead of his Australian tour dates.

Hi Joshua, you’re about to embark on a national headline Australian tour. What can punters expect from your live shows?

They can expect a mix of older and newer songs of mine. But beyond that, they can expect a level of intimacy they probably haven’t experienced before at most concerts. When you leave a show of mine, I want you to feel that you know me, the real me.

You’ve toured Australia routinely, tell us a little of those experiences?

Well, I’ve seen a lot of there. I’ve had amazing experiences with so many Aussies. And this time around I have a bit more time to see even more, which I’m very excited about.

What influences your music these days?

Usually the books I’m reading, the films I see, the conversations I have with my friends and family.

What do you have planned for the rest of the year after your Australian tour dates finishes up?

I am taking the summer off to write new songs. And then I’m the fall I’ll be heading over to Europe to do more touring.

Is there anything you would like to say to your Australian fan base ahead of the tour?

I’m so appreciative of each and every one of you. I know it’s been three years since I’ve been to Australia and I really hope you haven’t forgotten me.
