MGMT are coming to Falls this summer with their giant throwback psychedelic visuals, full live band – playing tunes from their new self titled album as well their masses of hits and crowd favourites. Get ready to transcend and transport!
They’re calling on a lucky ticket holder to join them onstage and help play an instrument at each of the Falls locations for the song ‘Your Life Is A Lie’! The instrument in question is a monstrously huge cowbell that looks like it would be more at home hanging round the neck of Godzilla. The audience member will wield a giant drumstick, punctuating each 4/4 bar with an almighty clonk. Check the video for ‘Your Life Is A Lie’ here.
How do you win?
Boogie Nights is the first night of each Falls event and it’s a fancy dress affair, the theme this year is INTERGALACTIC. Falls will be holding a ‘Best Dressed’ competition on this opening festival celebration at the below times and locations and the winner in the will find themselves onstage in the main arena with MGMT! Go crazy and get creative, start working on your intergalactic fashion masterpieces now.
