What’s the buzz? Due to overwhelming demand, The Frontier Touring Company and The Really Useful Group are delighted to confirm third Jesus Christ Superstar performances in both Perth and Brisbane!
The addition of a third Perth show on Sunday 2 June and a third Brisbane show on Tuesday 18 June brings the Australian run to a whopping 18 performances across May and June this year.
Lucky ticketholders will have the pleasure of witnessing not only a phenomenal production but an incredible cast including Australia’s own Tim Minchin as ‘Judas Iscariot’, former Spice Girl Melanie C as ‘Mary Magdalene’ and the critically acclaimed newcomer Ben Forster in the role of ‘Jesus’.
Adding a further Australian flavour to the cast will be Jon Stevens as ‘Pontius Pilate’ and Andrew O’Keefe in the role of King Herod.
Jesus Christ Superstar’s UK run of shows has received critical acclaim, including both Tim Minchin and Melanie C receiving Whatsonstage.com Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Musical respectively, testament to their stellar performances.
