Fait unveils new track ‘Slow Glow’ (Music Stream)

faitEmerging from the dark city lights and distance of Perth, Fait is multi-instrumentalist Elise Higgins, releasing the second cut Slow Glow from her forthcoming debut EP Atmosphere, recorded with producer Darren Lawson (MBV, Editors).

Starting from the lonely echo of reverb-drenched guitar and sparse drum beats, Slow Glow burns bright as it builds layer-by-layer, second-by-second, surging from ebb to flow with wisps of beguiling synth and dreamlike layers. The instrumental track is pure cinematic atmosphere, crafted to mask your eyes and pull you into a world of sound, deep and fathomless.

NYC Blog Pigeons and Planes have dubbed Fait one of the ’21 Australian Female Australian Musicians You Should Know’, whilst The Vine ranked her debut track Koto at #22 in their ‘Top 25 Australian Tracks of 2013’. Sydney’s hhhappy.com described it as an ‘understated, but magical tune… so enthralling that you can’t pull yourself away from it’, whilst triple j’s Dom Alessio and Dave Ruby Howe gave it 4 stars. Slow Glow is poised to continue Fait’s already impressive arrival.
