The surprise musical twist has been a recurring motif in Neil Finn’s long career. But not even his wife suspected this latest one was going to start ramping up after he got his pajamas on. Nor that she would share equal responsibility for its irresistibly strange and propulsive grooves.
Pajama Club began as a private after-dinner racket to fill an empty nest. With their two sons, musicians in their own right, off and away into the big old world, Neil and Sharon found themselves home alone with time, a sensible supply of red wine, copious musical instruments and a 16-track tape recorder on their hands.

While most rock bands are all too focused on the riff, the Sheepdogs remember the importance of those other elements that make for great rock music: melody, harmony and groove. To see them live is pure rock and roll jubilation, to revel in the splendour created by 3 part vocal harmonies and heavy hitting dual guitar leads.
Forming in late 2008, Red Remedy spent a year road testing their tunes all over NSW before hunkering down with producer Lamar Lowder (Jerk, Poweman 5000, Yothu Yindi) to record their debut EP on vintage analogue equipment (whenever funds would permit) at Sydney’s Megaphone Studios.
Parklife is a labour of love that started as a very small party in a park in March of 2000. We did it because we wanted to share the music we love with other like-minded people in a beautiful outdoor setting close to the centre of the city… and although it’s grown just a bit over the last 11 years the idea is exactly the same: Music we love, smiling people and a great party amongst grass, trees and (hopefully!) brilliant blue skies, right in the heart of the city.
Each year we do our very best to bring you the freshest bunch of artists in styles of music we think matter the most right now, constantly refine and improve everything about the show and give you a high quality Parklife experience.
We want Parklife to be a brilliant, glowing day you and your best friends look back on fondly for the rest of your lives!
