Much loved Australian songstress Missy Higgins graced the Taronga stage supported by the iconic Paul Dempsey on Saturday February 13, 2016. Missy enchanted the entire concert lawn with acoustic guitar and ukulele in tow, delivering the unforgettable hits and pop ballads that brought her into critical acclaim. Due to detected electrical storm activity that was within 5km of Taronga Zoo, Sunday evening’s performance was unfortunately shortened by three songs in the interests of everyone’s safety, however moods stayed uplifted as Missy closed her set with a spectacular rendition of her platinum-selling breakthrough single ‘Scar’.

Photos! Twilight at Taronga presented by ANZ – Opening Weekend featuring Josh Pyke, Winterbourne

Sydney’s favourite singer-songwriter Josh Pyke brought his sweet indie-pop for a sold out Twilight performance on the Taronga Zoo concert on Friday night. Warming up the crowd ahead of the main set was Central Coast duo Winterbourne, whose easy-listening folk rock kept spirits high. Once Josh Pyke took the stage, the amphitheatre was filled with the sound of his audience singing along to the catchy hooks and beautiful harmonies he has become renowned for as he performed songs from his most recent album But For All These Shrinking Hearts.
