It’s been six years since Robbie Williams last graced Brisbane’s stages, but the wait was well worth it for fans of the talented pop superstar.
On the back of the 2013 album Swings Both Ways, for the past few months Robbie Williams has been smashing out a world tour of the same name and September has seen Australia’s turn to get in on the swinging action. With shows already played in Perth and Sydney, Brisbane audiences were thrilled to pack out two shows this week at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Mercury Sky are about to drop their most crowning achievement to date – a self-titled EP that shows off the epic scope of their songwriting skills. The Mercury Sky EP was recorded by Dave Petrovic (Cog, Tonight Alive) and Shane Edwards (Northlane, House Vs Hurricane) and mastered by Don Bartley (Karnivool, Silverchair, David Bowie). 
Brisbane’s busiest alternative rock act, Guards of May, have been punching out their debut album in the Loose Stones studio on the Gold Coast. Now they are giving people the first look and listen of the new material with a single entitled ANNOTATA and are touring Australia from October-December with a whole heap of their pals, alongside Jericco, Circles, Caligula’s Horse, Sydonia, Young Lions and more.

Fifty-six weeks ago Violent Soho unleashed their third studio album Hungry Ghost to the world and upon doing so, set off a chain reaction of events that no one could have predicted. Coming in at #6 on the ARIA album charts and remaining in the top 50 for over a year, Hungry Ghost has seemingly become a favourite amongst hoards of punters not only in Australia, but also around the world as fans passionately continue to share the record with their mates.
