Australian 6-piece rock band, HANDS LIKE HOUSES release a music video for their cover of ‘Torn’ – the 1997 pop hit by Natalie Imbruglia – as part of the Punk Goes 90s, Vol. 2 compilation, currently available on iTunes through Fearless Records. Since its release, the band’s version is the best selling song on the compilation in Australia and New Zealand.

Taking Back Sunday is a band that truly needs no introduction. Six albums in and more than a decade into their stellar career, the trailblazing quintet have been consistently delivering dynamic, quality emo-rock for the dreamy and dedicated. Taking Back Sunday have just released ther sixth album ‘Happiness Is’. These formally scrappy punks are now truly seasoned songwriters, and that is crystal clear on this new album; their first on an independent label in more than ten years. It revives the classic line-up that launched a career that has sold millions of albums and toured the world many times. A musical and conceptual leap, ‘Happiness Is’ showcases confident songwriting that will endear the beloved rockers to fans both old and new.
The Boys from Kingswood are fast earning a reputation as one of the hardest touring bands in Australian rock n roll. Ending 2013 with a mammoth national tour with Calling All Cars, and kicking off 2014 by dominating stages along the national Big Day Out tour, they continue their run in April and May at Groovin The Moo, and their recently announced east coast city headline shows.
Emerging from the dark city lights and distance of Perth, Fait is multi-instrumentalist Elise Higgins, releasing the second cut Slow Glow from her forthcoming debut EP Atmosphere, recorded with producer Darren Lawson (MBV, Editors).
Sydney Pop/R&B singer, Ryan Morgan is scheduled to release his debut single ‘Surrender’ on March 17 (2014).
Achoo! Bless You, a Sydney folk-pop duo comprising singer-songwriters Ashleigh Steel & Ross James Tipper, first came to light in 2012 with the debut EP No Island. Their lead single ‘Before We Say Goodbye’ caught the attention of FBi and triple j Unearthed at radio and saw them share stages with the likes of Passenger (UK), Slow Club (UK), Tim Rogers, Tiny Ruins (NZ) and most recently, The Trouble With Templeton on their Australian national tour.
Guards of May are keeping the momentum rolling from their previous single release in late 2013 with a brand new single and East Coast tour in April. Recorded predominantly with Matt Bartlem and also with Tyse Lee at Loose Stones Records, the followup to their wildly successful single Numbers, Arcadia, takes things to the next level. The single is out digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp and more on Friday March 28, just ahead of their first tour date.
‘Standing In The Ocean’ is the new single from Calling All Cars, the second from their forthcoming new album Raise The People. Already added to triple j rotation and destined to become a fist-pumping summer anthem, the single now boasts an equally seasonal video, a narrative of sorts from the mind of Melbourne director Timothy Melville.
