The Kite String Tangle is the solo project of alternative electronic artist and producer, Danny Harley.

In 2013 Harley thrilled many with his gorgeous breakout single ‘Given The Chance’. The song went on to amass well over one million plays on SoundCloud and has seen The Kite String Tangle undertake two sell out tours of our country, a series of local festival appearances plus a trip to the US where he performed at the highly-regarded South By South West & Coachella music festivals.

Dainty Group have announced that global superstar Miley Cyrus will bring her Bangerz Tour to Australia in October this year.

Describing the Bangerz Tour Miley said “The tour is like my record, it kind of tells the story of my past year, all the sections are very different, kind of like a play. My fans are so on top of everything I want this to be an experience for them, I want them to feel involved.” The Bangerz Tour has been getting rave reviews in the US.

BIGSOUND 2014 Announces First Live Lineup

BIGSOUND has come out swinging with its first live line-up announcement for 2014. With the 80+ acts dropped today and dozens still to come, the program is one of the best yet with the likes of Gold Fields, DMA’s, Holy Holy, BAD//DREEMS, Client Liaison, KINGSWOOD and REMI all set to play in front of both industry and punters in a celebration of live Australian music.

They’ll be joined for the festival on September 10 & 11 by Seekae, Deep Sea Arcade, Thelma Plum, HITS, Sampology ft Tom Thum & Jordan Rakei, Blank Realm, D.D Dumbo, Fractures, Ash Grunwald, Halfway and over 140 artists over two nights, in fourteen venues in Brisbane’s iconic Fortitude Valley live music precinct.

Little BIGSOUND Announces 2014 Lineup!

The fourth annual Little BIGSOUND music forum has announced its line-up today, providing young people aged 15-25 with an amazing list of top industry speakers and hot new live acts to provide them with information on careers in the music business.

Programmed and run by a group of enthusiastic young people from Youth Music Industries which consists of students from Southbank TAFE, Music Industry College, Queensland Academy for Creative Industries, Young Blue and Coorparoo State College in conjunction with QMusic, Little BIGSOUND is held on July 21 at The Edge (at the State Library of Queensland). This year’s event welcomes artists including triple j favourites Jeremy Neale and Khal Wallis (The Medics) to discuss their careers alongside managers, event directors, promoters, festivals and media.
