TONY BENNETT, the Grammy Award-winning musician, whose music spans over six decades, performing LIVE IN AUSTRALIA this April. The tour will see Tony perform at Sydney’s iconic Opera House, in Melbourne’s majestic Regent Theatre, Brisbane’s world class Convention Centre and at the stunning outdoor setting Tempus Two Winery in the Hunter Valley. This marks Bennett’s first Australian tour in nine years since the hugely successful tour he did with k.d.lang. Antonia Bennett, Tony’s youngest daughter and a graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA, will be joining her father for all the Australian tour dates.

With worldwide record sales in the millions, and dozens of platinum and gold albums to his credit, TONY BENNETT is a musician who touches the hearts and souls of audiences with his charming vocals and humble stage presence. His long list of achievements, spanning over 60 years, includes fifteen Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, making this artist a true international treasure. His signature tunes, such as “Steppin’ Out With My Baby” and “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” form part of the fabric of American music culture. Often billed as the world’s most boyish octogenarian, TONY BENNETT is a vital musical artist at the peak of his powers.

TONY BENNETT celebrated his 85th birthday with a new CD, “Duets II” and made music history by making Tony the oldest artist to ever have a #1 CD on the Billboard album charts. Bennett began the recording process with several artists during Grammy week last February at LA’s famed Capitol Studios. Subsequent recording sessions in New York, Nashville and Italy rounded out the completion of the CD. Featured on “Duets II” are Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, and the late Amy Winehouse, whose last recording session was for this project. “Duets II,” produced by Phil Ramone follows up “Tony Bennett Duets: An American Classic” CD, the 2006 Grammy winning best selling CD which became the singer’s best selling CD to date. “Duets II” was recently nominated for three Grammy Awards.
