The Wombats

The Wombats have an uncanny knack for writing incredibly catchy songs. A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation, featuring indie-rock cult classic ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’ is a witty collection of dance floor-filling indie pop gems that are loaded with savvy pop culture references, angsty coming-of-age observations and utterly infectious hooks. Selling over a million copies worldwide, the album went platinum in the UK and Gold in Australia, soared up the heart-seeker charts in the US, and was the triple j feature album of December 2007.

It’s no secret Australia has always had a love affair with The Wombats; selling out and upgrading multiple shows across the country and delivering massively energetic festival sets at The Falls Music and Arts Festival, Groovin’ the Moo and Splendour in the Grass. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate the album that debuted indie-rock royalty The Wombats plus all their biggest hits!

Milky Chance

2014 saw German duo Milky Chance release their debut album Sadnecessary, featuring the single ‘Stolen Dance’ (4 x Platinum in Australia / #4 on triple j’s Hottest 100). The single earned ecstatic praise, took the number one spot in several countries, and is now the 16th most Shazamed song in history.

After two years of solid touring, including playing some of the world’s biggest festivals, the German duo emerged late last year with ‘Cocoon’, which has just achieved Gold-status in Australia; amassing over 19 million plays on Spotify and over 4 million views on YouTube/VEVO.

Blossom (Neon Records/Universal Music Australia) will be available in stores and at all digital retailers on Friday March 17, 2017 and will feature Milky Chance’s new hit singles and triple j favorites ‘Doing Good’ and ‘Ego’.

The Jungle Giants

The Jungle Giants returned in 2017 with their highly anticipated new single ‘Feel The Way I Do’. The track is the first taste from the indie outfit since their critically acclaimed 2015 album Speakerzoid.

‘Feel The Way I Do’ signalled another musical leap for The Jungles, with the track showcasing a seamless pairing of songwriting and production techniques. The track was recorded at Empire Studios, the result of frontman Sam Hales’ “5 days a week, 9-5” approach to the musical adventure of album number three.

Racking up over 26 million Spotify streams, The Jungle Giants have become the poster people for taking creative risks in the studio, as seen throughout the journey from their first EP to triple j feature albums Learn To Exist and follow-up Speakerzoid. These releases spurred sold-out headline dates and appearances at all major Australian festivals, including a triumphant early evening set to an overflowing tent at Splendour 2016. Speakerzoid also saw them play shows in LA, New York, Toronto, Austin, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.

‘Feel The Way I do’ continues to mark the band’s key stylistic and musical evolution – a tantalising glimpse into the new record due later this year.
