The Owls are a four-piece indie rock band from Newcastle, Australia. The Triple J Unearthed winners have been at it since 2008, touring with the likes of Gyroscope, The Living End, The Jezabels, Cloud Control and Phrase to name a few.

The Owls have taken the fast-paced elements of alternative rock, thrown in a liberal lashing of progressive southern dustiness and mixed in touches of ethereal dissonance to make a style all their own.

The Owls first self-titled EP received critical praise from both peers and punters alike, and now The Owls are to set to release their new EP ‘Swamp Love’.

The new single ‘Better Off Deaf’ is set for release in July, 2012.
