The Japanese House (a.k.a 20 year-old Amber Bain) has announced her debut Australian headline show at Sydney’s Goodgod Small Club on 15th January 2016. The young Londoner will also support The 1975 on their 2016 Australian tour.
After creating a unmissable buzz online with the release of debut EP, Pools To Bathe In, earlier this year – which features the single ‘Still’, Zane Lowe’s last ever ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1 – The Japanese House releases her second EP Clean today via Dirty Hit / Sony Music Australia.
Recorded during the summer with George Daniel and Matthew Healy, Clean sees The Japanese House expand on the unique, brooding, melancholic electronica showed on Pools To Bathe In, whilst continuing to push the parameters of alt-pop with her luscious, hazy and engulfing sound.
