The Bloodpoets – to perform “The Grand Machine” @ The Zoo – February 2013

After taking much of the end of 2012 off to finish recording their new album “THE GRAND MACHINE” , The Bloodpoets are back to play their brand new album in full at the most appropriate venue for it! THE ZOO!

Containing Triple J songs “WAR” and “RA RA RA RA RIOT” that have since become big hits in New Zealand THE GRAND MACHINE is looking to be the best offering from the band yet, and a perfect follow up to the 2009 critically acclaimed release “POLARITY”.

THE GRAND MACHINE is a story where the music, lyrics and themes are narrative that explains the impact of war and corruption on 2 innocent people who initially were impartial, until it began to affect them.

For this album showcase, the band will be going all out with production and development of this story by providing projected visuals, lighting and many other little surprises.

They will be on the night by Cold & Need, We Were Giants and Goodnight Midnight.

“Right from the get go, these guys had an intensity in their music & on stage that could not be matched.” Sludge Factory – live review

“It’s a punk rock hurricane – with added cowbell!” Dom Alessio, Triple J
