Strike a Pose at the fourth annual iSelect Fashion+Aid – Palladium Ballroom, Melbourne – 10 September 2011

  The fourth annual iSelect Fashion+Aid charity event will return to the Palladium Ballroom at Crown Entertainment Complex on Saturday 10 September 2011. Titled Strike a Pose, the 80’s inspired night of glitz and glamour will support the Lighthouse Foundation and showcase an extravagant and theatrical show to mesmerise the 1200 guests.

Hosted by Fox FM breakfast star Jo Stanley, guests will be treated to an adrenalin pumping night including a fashion parade, dance performances and an exclusive song performance by Australia’s hottest act, Stan Walker.

Choreographed by Chantel Runting, the high energy fashion parade will feature designers including Wayne Cooper, Bettina Liano, Tony Bianco, Jason Grech, mossee, Nathan Paul Swimwear, Robb & Lulu, Anthea Soloptias, Cadeau Republic, Coco Riche Swimwear, Seven Souls and fashion graduate Jonte Pike will feature one of her first parades for label Jonte.

17-year-old Melbourne schoolgirl, Annabelle Eve, who has just returned from Nashville with an international management deal, will open the show. Annabelle has performed all over America including Ground Zero in New York and two Royal events for Prince Edward and Princess Anne. Annabelle won Young Arts Achiever of the year in 2007 and has recorded over 40 songs in Melbourne and LA.

Pop up performances throughout the night will include new Australian dance band, Collective and Australian Idol’s latest singing sensation Stan Walker, will perform a 20 minute show featuring his chart topping hit Loud as well as tracks from the new album.

iSelect Fashion+Aid ambassadors and celebrities that will strike a pose on the red carpet include; Matthew Richardson, Tiffiny Hall, Brynne Edelsten, Wayne Carey, Kasia Z, Amber Renae, Melanie Vallejo, Shane Delia and George Calombaris among other celebrity guests.

Throughout the night the audience will have a chance to bid on exclusive auction items to raise money for the Lighthouse Foundation; iSelect Fashion+Aid ambassador George Calombaris, alongside Shane Delia and Philippe Mouchel, have offered the Ultimate Foodie Experience; guests will bid for the opportunity to dine with three friends at the Press Club, Hellenic Republic, Maha, St Katherine’s and PM24.

Other auction items include; a Cadel Evans signed Tour de France jersey; Lady Gaga signed guitar; a signed Mandela historical speech; an exclusive holiday in Turtle Island worth $22,000; a pair of 18ct white gold earrings with black diamonds worth $6950 from GN Designer Jewellers and a lap around Sandown with Shane Jacobsen;

Guests can also buy raffle tickets to win one of six amazing prizes including a Nissan Micra insured by iSelect, a Fiji Cruise by Captain Cook Cruises, a Harvey Norman home entertainment system, a couture gown by Six Dresses, 5 nights in Bali’s VillaAgapi and a Jan Logan diamond ring.
