Set The Record release new single “Real”

Have you ever experienced the feeling of soaring to unimaginable heights upon a Pegasus? If you said yes, you’ve obviously heard Brisbane pop rock 5-piece SET THE RECORD. Or you’re lying.

With melodies catchier than swine flu and a booming sound that can only be described as booming, their debut single ‘Real’ from their forthcoming EP ‘Above The World’ is about to give you some much needed ear love.

Following the success from their last single “Take Me Away” which lead them to be the #1 Australian trending topic on Twitter, and gained them some air time on B105 and 2Day FM, SET THE RECORD have raised the bar with an all new larger-than-life sound.

Their EP was produced by Dave Petrovic with some help from Tonight Alive’s lead guitarist Whakaio Taahi, at Sydney based studio Electric Sun Studios. It was here that they carefully crafted their new single ‘Real’’. A song that challenges you to chase your dreams and provides a powerful chorus that will no-doubt be stuck in your head for days.

Their new single is to drop on the 29th of August 2013 with an EP to follow in the coming months. It
received it’s first spin on B105’s Bump Show earlier this week after trending nationally on Twitter a mere 13 minutes after the band put it to their fans. Make sure you chuck a listen, because it will have you tearing off your delicates, screaming ‘take me now’ before the first chorus.
