Interview by Life Music Media
The League of Sideshow Superstars return to Harvest Festival in 2012 with their high skill circus routines and extreme eye-popping sideshow stunts. We caught up with founder and front man of “The League” Shep Huntly…
Shep: We are four sideshow/circus artists that come together a few times a year to do a few big gigs and have a sideshow party. People can expect to see a whole lot of stunts and routines we are really proud of. They will see something they haven’t seen before and something they will want to tell their friends about. I mean have you ever seen a man attempt to pick up a car battery by his nipples???
LMM: When you’re not performing, what do you enjoy doing?
Shep: Drinking with friends and talking about sideshow stuff. Surfing, hang gliding and having sex.
LMM: What are you most looking forward to about doing Harvest 2012?
Shep: Being in that brilliant creative festival world and doing great shows for great crowds.
LMM: Have you got any pre-show routines/superstitions?
Shep: Vodka
LMM: What other performances are you excited about seeing at Harvest 2012?
Shep: Cake, love Cake
LMM: Do you have anything special planned for Harvest 2012 in particular?
Shep: Nah, its all special. I reckon this is by far the best Australian Festival
LMM: What do you have planned for the rest of the year after Harvest 2012 finishes up?
Shep: We split up and do solo shows around the country.
