Olivia Newtwon-John causes a stir with twitter about new ‘Olivia’ video clip

Flying into Australia this weekend, Olivia Newton-John will be here to promote the release of her new film “A Few Best Men”. However, it’s not the new film that has Olivia fans and Olivia herself tweeting today, but a new video clip from Australian’s own The Swamp Dandies.

Best known for his 1992 Top 10 hit single “Happy Birthday Helen”, The Swamp Dandies is the new project for Things of Stone & Wood’s lead singer Greg Arnold.

Launching their new album “Fall”, The Swamp Dandies debut single “Olivia” is an ode to the Australian icon and features a quirky video clip, which depicts the many stages of Olivia’s career.

The video clip made its debut on the Olivia fan page earlier today, quickly gathering momentum and the attention of Olivia herself who went on to post the video on her own website, thanking The Swamp Dandies for their “hilarious” video and “catchy song”.

The Swamp Dandies new album “Fall” is out now through Strum Pop / Mind’s Eye Records / MGM.
