MONICANS emerged from the ether of the cityscape of Perth in 2007, instantly lulling the local scene into a sense of bliss with their psychedelia-drenched rock-punk-pop stylings. After the advent of their demo EP, they mounted a charge into a brave new world, hitting Europe in 2009 with their big white van and even bigger experimental sounds, sleeping in parking lots and bringing music to the people.

Consisting of gleaming guitar and vox provided by PAUL BEARD, bass maestro and fellow singer HEATHER LONIE, and rounded out by the tricky stylings of drummer GLEN KOFALVI, the first taste of the forthcoming debut album is lead single GO AWAY, transcending their roots with their most ambitious, diverse offering of rock and roll and punk rock experimental pop melodies yet.
