Bec Laughton announces “Darkest Love” Tour

Brisbane’s indie soul songstress Bec Laughton may not be a name you recognise just yet, but this tiny redhead with a giant voice has a knack for penning a killer pop hook, and is soon to take over stages around Australia for her ‘Darkest Love’ tour.

An EP is also on its way, demonstrating Bec’s ability in hard hitting soul can venture from sweeping ballads to R&B tracks you can’t help but dance to. The production of the EP was beautifully unconventional with recordings from high-end studios in the USA to bedrooms in Brisbane. Each track was approached uniquely and features production from indie house/nu-disco producer Buré Godwin and bass/music guru Graham Ritchie (Emma Louise, Skinny Jean).

A sneaky taster of what this pocket rocket has to offer is her tour title track, ‘Darkest Love’. Don’t be fooled though, she knows how to pick up the pace and get your feet moving.

With a recent performance at Red Deer Music and Arts Festival, a QMA Award and finalist position in the International Songwriting Competition, we are bound to hear her name more and more.
