Alla Spina playing The Zoo, Brisbane – 31 August 2012

The Brisbane band and their renowned electric energy are set to deliver another wild performance at The Zoo on Friday 31st August 2012.

Alla Spina’s pumped to be bringing their New Wave sound and ‘no boundaries’ approach, playing tracks from their debut EP ‘Tony’ as well as some fresh material from the all-original group.

The night is shaping up to be an unpredictable and explosive experience true to Alla Spina’s punk attitude and eclectic form, promising to wow and definitely win over some new fans.

Alla Spina will be supported by The 50 Bags and Belligerent Goat. Tickets $8/$10, doors 8pm.

Bio:
Alla Spina is a five piece band from Brisbane QLD, Australia. Forming in late 2010, Alla Spina is already becoming well known in and around Brisbane for their high energy music and performances.

Influenced by various forms of music, Alla Spina (“pumped up” in Italian), play music inflected by punk, rock, pop and ska. The band strive to transcend musical and social boundaries by sticking to a “no boundaries” formula to their hybrid sound and write about breaking stereotypes and following one’s own path.

In February 2011, the band was involved in the AMRAP released “In between” album which brought together a selection of up and coming multicultural artists from Australia. The band also gigged extensively around its home town with 30 + gigs booked by the end of the year. 2012 saw the release of Alla Spina’s debut E.P. ‘Tony’ and are looking forward to another busy year of touring.
