The Frontier Touring Company in association with Jacobsen International are proud to announce the first Australian tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in a decade. Confirmed to tour the East Coast of Australia in March 2013 with their ‘Wrecking Ball Tour’, the run will include indoor arena dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and a very special outdoor performance at Victoria’s iconic Hanging Rock.

Understated guitars and synth coupled with perfectly weighted vocals and harmonies make ‘Drones’ a solid third single from Sydney-based Nantes, and is an advanced taste of their debut album due in 2013.

First single ‘Fly’ launched Nantes from the obscurity of the masses of new artists on Triple J Unearthed to become part of the regular rotation of tracks on the airwaves in 2011, as did their second single ‘Satisfy’ earlier this year.

‘Doom And Gloom’ marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years. The single was recorded in Paris and produced by longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Licks Live/ A Bigger Bang), with the radio mix produced by Jeff Bhasker.

Gotye has scooped the pool at the 2012 ARIA’s. He won more awards than any other artist including ‘Best Male Artist’ and the prestigious ‘Album of the Year’ for his acclaimed release, “Making Mirrors“.

Appropriately enough on the eve of his first Australian tour in over a year Gotye was also voted by the public as Australia’s ‘Best Live Act’.

The man behind Gotye – Wally De Backer – took one night off from his tour rehearsals to attend the ARIA Awards at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre. He returned home to Melbourne just last week after doing over 60 dates in iconic venues across the globe from The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York City to London’s Hammersmith Apollo and Paris’ iconic Le Zenith. The tour also took in less commonly visited countries like Dubai, Poland and Korea, who have also embraced Gotye this year.
