QUEEN “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS” (Only Vox & Guitar).
Queen – We Are The Champions ( A capella version ,only vocal)
Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury wrote this. All 4 members of Queen contributed hit songs.
Freddie Mercury: “I was thinking about football when I wrote it. I wanted a participation song, something that the fans could latch on to. Of course, I’ve given it more theatrical subtlety than an ordinary football chant. I suppose it could also be construed as my version of “I Did It My Way.” We have made it, and it certainly wasn’t easy. No bed of roses as the song says. And it’s still not easy.”

The GARDEN OF GOOD TIMES that is the Meredith23 Lineup is (way) out now. So are Round One Ballot Results.

There’s a workman like edge to the stage as the steady four piece of Northern NSW’s Grinspoon launched into their set. The wild flailing and feigned punk-rock disinterest from frontman Phil Jamieson are long gone, in its stead are the once-ironic rock poses: the furious grip on the mic stand, the perfectly timed lunge on to the stage monitors and, crucially, the almost trademarked index finger thrust decisively skyward.
Northlane have announced local supports for their fast approaching “Springularity Tour”. Due to take place throughout September, the tour will see the Sydney-based band take to stages in regional and greater metropolitan areas across Australia’s East Coast in the wake of their sold-out capital city tour in June. “The Springularity Tour” marks Northlane’s last set of dates in Australia before an all-out global assault which includes live dates in the UK, mainland Europe and North America over the space of three months before returning to Australia to play Big Day Out 2014 in January. Joining them for the shows will be Perth hardcore act Saviour, who opened the East Coast Rampage tour in June and have amassed over 100,000 YouTube views in one month across their most recent music videos for “Jaded” and “Morning”. Tickets for all shows are on sale now!
